Last night at Keller in my SE 571 class we talked a bit about a few links.
First was a link to Dan Kaminski’s DNS checker website:
http://www.doxpara.com/ . He mentions in the post that is at the top today that “opendns.org has capacity” So here is that link: http://www.opendns.org . I have used opendns at home for a while now and I find it to be, well, I don’t find it to be anything, and that is what I like.
The other thing we talked about (I need 3 things to make a few) was Systm and the video where they are actually making a firewall. We talked about how it isn’t rocket science, but that you should have two NIC’s and that there was a cool video that shows how to do it using a flash drive and a linux distro made for the purpose. Here is the link to that “Internet TV” site: http://revision3.com/systm .
