13Jul nMap and port scanning
As a note for my SE571 class at Keller.edu this term and next, I downloaded nMap to perform a port scan. This would be a perfect tool for your video demo.
What does nMap do? Well it will tell you which ports are open on your network. You can point it at a domain or website and see which ports are open and then pretty much which services are open.
My server, 208.109.111.7 has 53, 80 and 3389 open. Why?
