Ubuntu on IBM T22

I was able to install Ubuntu on a IBM T22 that Scott gave to me the other day. It runs it great. You dont get the cool desktop effects, but everything worked. right away.

These are nice laptops, albeit a bit old. Scott had a Netgear WG511v2 PCMCIA card in it that I was able to get working using: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Device/TRENDnet_TEW-421PC_H/W%3aB1_(ndiswrapper)?highlight=(WifiDocs%2FDevice) . And http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?s=37c579d1673c123c587cb72eadfe545d&t=483000&page=4 . The drivers were the hardest part to find (the latter link).

Overall it is a great installation that we plan on using at http://www.pvst29.org for a in house machine to check email and the like.
