10Jul Linux and time4learning.com Firefox 3.0
I wanted to get http://www.time4learning.com working on my daughters openSuse machine running FireFox 3.0. I downloaded the firefox extension https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59 User Agent Switcher, but it didnt give me the option I wanted. I could get IE, which made the links break in time4learning.com or I could get netscape 4.8, which made the page not work because 5.1 is needed.
So here is what I did. I choose Tools -> User Agent Switcher -> Options -> Options then choose User Agents from the short list and I chose to edit the Netscape 4.8 for Vista. I changed all 4.8s on that screen to 5.1 and then OK, OK.
Now when I go to http://www.time4learning.com , which I love for my daughter, and she loves as well she can just open Firefox, choose the Netscape 5.1 (Windows Vista) user agent and continue into the site. This was on fedora 9, Ubuntu 8.04 and openSuse 11 (she runs openSuse 11 for the most part).

I tried this, but when I use IE the JavaScript links don’t work, when I try Netscape, it says the browser is not compatible. I wish they would just fix their system!
