So. I woke up the morning of Sept 16th and told my wife about a new business idea I had hatched that morning.

The basis for the idea was Kennedy Huber. I was thinking of how I wish I had visited her grave more often. No excuses only regret.

So the idea was a gravesite maintenance business. Arizona is home to many “snow birds”. These are people who come down for the winter to escape the cold of the north or midwest. We are the new Florida.

Now these “snowbirds” are old read: close to death.

So when your loved one dies in AZ and you are from Minot, ND you have a good chance of burying them here in AZ. You fly home for the summer and regret leaving your loved one behind with no flowers (its hot in AZ during the summer) and the summer grass growing over the headstone.

That is where Memorial Caretakers comes in. We will clean the headstone, polish it, trim the grass, add more grass seed as needed, and place flowers if you wish. Memorial Caretakers does this for as little as $35 a month.

Check the site out. I have two exceptional students that are creating the website for the business for college credit. Thats right guys – college credit. These guys have been great for a long time, but I just met them last semester. These are the type of guys that end up writing web pages or other programming for 150K a year – 40 hours a week or less.

Anyway they are already working on the site. They are going to do a better job than I could do and learn more than they will ever realize. This is the sort of project that will get them a really good paying job.
