So it was pointed out to me by a former coworker that I seem to only work for companies with 3 letters in their names…

Here is the run down of my work history (Current to oldest)

1. SRP (PM)
2. DeVry (Instructor)
3. BIG (ASP, HTML, PM, Director)
4. DVT – Digital Voice Technologies (VB)
5. O’connor & Cavanaugh – Network Monkey (anything I could program)
6. PSN – Planet Systems Network (Technical Supervisor – HTML, JS, PERL)
7. MCI – Phone company (iomega support)
8. SRT – Souris River Telecommunications (Dialup support and some html/JS)
9. SEI – Sykes Enterprises Incorporated – Gateway 2000 support
10. Tropical Tan – Lotion boy. OK not really just worked, ordered from suppliers etc.
11. NBC – US Army (not really a company, NBC was my MOS)
12. Little Caesars (Rita Dannenberger hired me away from the Kmart LC’s to be a shift supervisor (I was moving up) – she later fired me and “Played me like a fiddle” – I was crushed.
13. Kmart (worked in the Little Caesars)
14. Best Western – Hotel I was a laundry boy (age 15)

So I guess he was right. I also worked at a toothbrush factory for a while there, but I can’t remember the name of the company. I also did some telemarketing for a while for a company I am certain has a 3 letter abbreviation, but I still can’t remember its name either.

More than ½ of my jobs in my life have had 3 letter abbreviations for company names. Pretty interesting – ok not really since I am guessing a lot of abbreviations are 3 letters. My name also has 3 letters when abbreviated – weird!

Wait! Yours does too? Awesome!
