Website traffic is a ficle beast. Some days there are hundreds of clicks and other days there are $0. Tough to nail down, but website traffic certainly isnt something you can explain.
So I am teaching a new class at DeVry University – CIS 407. It is the same as CIS 410 was in the past. This is a great class. All of the students seem interested and are better at the subject matter than any class I have had for some time. Our last lab wasnt simple – it was uploading files to the server and validating inputs – and nearly all of them stayed to complete the lab as well as helped each other (this is the best way to learn for many) and really just stuck it out.
I can tell early on that this class and many of these students will certainly have a career in this area!
It makes it easier on me as well. It is hard teaching students that are disinterested or just dont care.
I have my new toy – a pocket pc. This thing is just awesome. Keeps me up to date with emails etc. I wish the battery lasted longer, but something I can live with.
