It is very hard to find a wine you like. More difficult yet is to find a wine that you and your wife both like. I havent succeeded.
I was given a bottle of Portugal port from my greatest friend Charles Ward. If you havent tried port it is the reason they say that something old or bad has “gone to port”. Wine turns to port when it has been around for some time.
If you want a detailed explanation I suggest you ask someone who knows. Google knows exactly what it means.
Anyway a good port is hard to find. I have had many that are bad. Charlie found a port that I am not suprised to say included his title of warrior (ok loose relation).
I found this same wine at AJ’s for $70. I called Chuck and asked him where he found it. It was at Walgreens for around $10. I finally made it to walgreens liquor and found it for $15. I bought two bottles.
Now I have had many good bottles of wine for far less than $15. I have drunk 2 buck chuck and ernest and julio gallo. Nothing compares. I have drunk $30 bottles of gluhwine and mead. Not even close.
Port is a full bodied wine. It has all the flavors and tanons and tastes that you expect. The bottle gets better after breathing for some time.
You must give
Warre’s
Warrior 1670 Port
Portugal
Yeah. Anything Charles Warhammer Ward does is great, so he is a “Greatest Friend”. If you know him, you realize this.
