Amazon has a contest for .NET programmers to use VS.NET 2005. Create something using their web services.

Just enter. I know enough of you that are good enough to enter this and at least get something submitted. The benefit is in the learning.

The last thing I need is another T Shirt for my wife to wear to bed (she was wearing my Visual Studio 2005 shirt last night). But the learning process is invaluable.

Will I create a submission? Possibly? Any ideas?

I will probably start with some method of searching and batch processing an RSS feed or something like that. Updating the user if something drops below a price set by them. Something like a stock ticker…
