I am at the Phoenix Plaza link for some Microsoft Training. I am in the Microsoft office and just waiting for the training to start. The Plaza offers free wifi access which is cool.

I was here about 2 years ago for training with no internet and it was tough to deal with. The training is “What is New in MSVS 2005 for existing VS.NET developers”

I am looking forward to the test tools discussion and applying that information to my work at Business Integration Group.

Other than Simon being a little annoying, it has been a pretty good experience. ClickOnce was the last topic of the day, and I realized that my ISP wouldnt allow me to upload or host exes. This is a drawback, but not something that I really should care about.

I can just host my exe on a network share and do the same as I would have if it were http. ClickOnce does all of this for me.

Simon had an issue when opening the program to make a change and version the change. Turns out he wasnt logged in as an administrator. He needed to find VS.NET 2005 on the start menu and RIGHT click then RUN AS. He then chose the administrator user at the bottom and entered his creds. Interesting. I am an admin on the machine. I wonder if I need to do this…
