05Aug Busy Days
Today I worked a full schedule, golfed with my daughter, watched Big Brother and worked on my class.
Work was work with a fair amount of email and work. I got an installation of Windows Vista from Shawn Walcheske and compacted and converted the VHD and ran it on Virtual Server. It is pretty much Windows XP with a new skin and some interested pictures features etc. I will try and remember my laptop and a dvd tomorrow to burn a copy for home. I really want to see how it will handle my 18 gigs of family photos.
I went to the range with my daughter Kristin and My wife Carol and unborn child Kennedy went with as well. They kinda travel as a pair.
Kristin was doing great the last time we went out. She hit 10-15 gonners and they went like 40 yeards. This time not so well. Kristin attributes it to mommy and next time she says I should go with and bring the camera (so that mommy cant come and thus she will do better). I was sure to tell her she was doing rather well and sometimes we do excellent and other times we just do really good. And only bad kids that end up in orphanages dont golf well.
Big Brother was a boring. Kaiser (I know) got kicked off. whatever. waste of time. Becks is 1.99 for two 20ozs. Not too bad. Oh yeah I hope Eric doesnt come back – he bothers me on the show, but is a hero each day he goes to work.
School is interesting as usual. My MBA had a purpose and now that I am back for my MPM I am just learning. There really isnt an end because I am sure to meet the core requirements for the degree and then just work on the electives – all like 6 of them (thats a lot). I log on, do my thing and crank out another few pages of my project.
It isnt hard since it is related to work and there is a lot going on at Business Integration Group and Cushman and Wakefield. BIG is turning a corner and next week we shall see what comes of it. I have dedicated myself for the long term and it should be a great learning and growing experience.
