I currently use an LS443 from Kodak. It is a 4MP camera with 3 times zoom. When I upgraded to the SC-D6550 from samsung I realized some of the things I didnt like about the Kodak LS 443.

First I liked the docking station. There is a reason that the easy share system from Kodak is so popular. When I was testing both cameras I was not using the docking station and I realize how much I do like it.

But the Kodak takes some blurry photos. I thought it was me and everyone else in the world. But I took pretty good photos with the camera as did my wife. Everyone else seemed to not be able to get the camera to do what they wanted. Any picture with my wife and I in it then suffered. Again – it could have been me.

Low light just is a problem for the kodak. It cant seem to get the flash and the photo to work together. You either get washed out photos or black – just black.

Switching between photos and video. The samsung has a dedicated CCD for video and this makes switching obviously fast. The kodak would take almost a minute to switch if you had just placed a few photos into memory.

The kodak could take more photos in a row, but I dont know if that is an issue yet. The LS 443 is going on ebay soon. I expect about $150 for it, but I have another few days with it.
