I bought my daughter a new club today. It was a Pitching Wedge (really just a W) that is not much longer than some chopsticks I have seen. The cool thing about the us golf clubs is that they are 25% lighter. My wife and I carried her current 9/W into the store to compare the weight and it was sinificantly lighter.
Dont think that I will be pressuring her, but I am betting she will hit it OVER the 20 yard marker this time out. I think this club will really do it for her. I will not pressure her, but the last few times we went out she hit 20 – 30 balls on her own. That is quite the investment for a 4 year old. Check out the video of her giving it a shot in the earlier posting if you dont believe me.
Watched Hells Kitchen tonight while working on a Decision tree for work. It is a simple matter of deciding when it is appropriate to complete which level of documentation for a task. Sometimes it is a simple one line change and sometimes there are many pages that span more than one portion of the application. More often than not it falls somewhere in the middle. When is it appropriate to complete a one page functional overview? When is the longer version based on the IEEE standard necessary?
That is the point. Hells Kitchen was an interesting view into what I really believe some people wish they could be like. Chef has the ability to say and do what he sees fit. Fire the guy who says he is working the hardest and is the most intelligent because he really wasnt. Cool. I have been around the guy who is always busy or the student who is somehow under more stress than other students or me!? You know what? your not. It is just that simple.
I hope that I dont show that attitude. I am not under a special amount of stress. My situation is much different that the situation of many others before me. Or it is much different but certainly not more trying. And for those of you reading Kennedy’s blog, you know this might be hard to believe. Everyone has a hard time at it from day to day. Everyone has troubles they deal with. Some are able to tread water without breathing hard. Others tread water while screaming for help. Some sink.
I meet you at the bottom when I get there – for now I have my head far above the water.
