07Jun Why should I be sent to the PDC?
Why should Jason Huber be sent to the PDC? A contest from the guys at Channel 9 asks. Well that is how it sounded to me when I asked myself anyway.
Not only have I proven the ways that I can share information using the posts from my latest azgroups.com conference, but I am immersed in the industry. I contribute in many ways to the idea of coding and being a coder or contributing to the ideal as a whole.
I have a knack for sharing the information I have absorbed. Not only with posting my notes from the conferences, but from turning those notes into ideas and those ideas into programs or examples. I have taken the time to become quit familiar with the blogging arena with Audio blogs for my 4 year old Kristin Huber as well as video when she chooses to do so. My unborn daughter Kennedy Huber is also currently blogging her heartbeat via a Doppler Monitor.
At the PDC while attending the event I can quickly post notes and information as to what is happening and what is of interest. In the way of audio as well as textual blogs and even video. My idea of blogging the PDC would be that someone not able to attend could do so vicariously through me. They would probably be browsing the Internet while I attending sessions, but immediately afterwards or even during they would see my notes.
Why I am so sure that I could pull it all off? I current teach CIS at DeVry University and I am used to presenting and sharing information with students of the same subject. I post video snips of classes that are of interest and create tutorials for many of the subjects. This sort of thing would be of great value after a session at the PDC. I work in the industry as a programmer. Each day I am working with .NET and other Microsoft technologies so I am thoroughly familiar with the subject, which also helps me share information.
