18May 7 days is long enough.
I hate it when a blog goes without an update for weeks. Just get in there and tell everyone what you are doing.
Well I have been rather busy teaching. New book, new assignments and realigning quizes and the final etc. Take some time and some bugs to work out. This semester everyone decided that they wanted to use C# instead of VB.NET for whatever reason. Well I am a VB guy most of the time and shooting from the hip as I do in examples C# causes some slight problems.
Enough about that.
On my free time I have been golfing more. Attempting and failing to shoot under 100, I am having more fun this year than I have in the past. I hadnt played in 2 years, so to come back and do at least OK is great.
I also purchased my 4 year old a set of clubs. She is doing rather well with them. She can hit the ball and although the clubs are a little long and rather heavy for her she is able to get it to go where she wants it. Putting is much easier and she has a great time at that.
The book I am currently reading (listening to) is War and Peace. Amamzingly enough it is a very interesting story and I have come to really enjoy it. I am actually holding off on some other stories that I want to read because this one is so long. In Chapter 6 of book 2 it has a lot of information about Free Masons in it. I was surprised. Early on in the book there is a mention of Masonry, but starting in book 2 there is a lot of mention of Masonry. Very interesting stuff.
So that is what I am doing. Anything else going on is probably blogged elsewhere.
