I signed up for the video hosting by google. So far it is pretty much the same interface and standards that I have come to expect from google. Behind the scenes they are currently doing some verification processes, but I am sure the video will be approved and out soon.

I haven’t found yet how to link to the video, but when I do I will probably start hosting all of my tutorials on google.com as well as on my site and on a school server. It takes a long time to download from my .AU server and DeVry deletes my videos every semester which is necessary for their maintenance reasons.

The google video upload tool reminds me of ipodder. It was easy to use, I entered the information. I hope that I dont need to create transscripts for all of my future videos. Creating a transcript would just be a nightmare. It is hard enough listening to yourself let alone transcribing what you say. I could see a month from now after constantly transcribing my videos I would have become far less instructive and far less helpful in the videos. That just wont do.

Google – do what you will with the videos, but dont expect me to transcribe anything for you.
