This guy placed an RFID chip in his hand so that he could open his car doors and his house would unlock for him etc.

I am thinking it is a little extreme. Why not just devise a bracelet for the same effect? Why bother with actually placing it in your hand.

As far as the Terri Schiavo deal goes I feel really bad for her. I wish that there was some way that we could have known for certain what she wanted. I know that both parties think they are doing what is best for her and I hope they are making the right decisions.

It looks like the supreme court has decided to not decide the case and that the lower courts decisions that her husband can decide will stand. I didnt find anything at http://www.lcms.org that would lead me to think that this is something in appropriate. And she certainly is unable to take part in the Communion or anything else. I havent heard too much about the religious considerations that have been made by each side, but I can only assume that they are a part of the controversy.
